Contract: Fixed-term, Full-time, till the end of January 2027

Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced, international environment supporting payroll operations across multiple countries within the EMEA region.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented and experienced in managing multi-country payroll processes in a complex international environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support end-to-end payroll processing across multiple EMEA countries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Prepare and validate payroll inputs, including salaries, bonuses, benefits, allowances and deductions.
  • Coordinate with external payroll providers and internal HR teams to ensure smooth payroll operations.
  • Review payroll reports and reconcile discrepancies prior to payroll submission.
  • Ensure payroll compliance with country-specific legislation, tax rules and statutory requirements.
  • Support statutory filings, payments and year-end reporting activities.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records in line with audit and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding payroll activities.
  • Maintain payroll data integrity across payroll and HR systems.
  • Perform regular payroll audits and reconciliations.
  • Liaise with HR and Finance teams across multiple countries.
  • Support payroll-related reporting, reconciliations and finance activities.
Required Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources or a related field.
  • 2-4 years' payroll experience, ideally within a multi-country EMEA environment.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, controls and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with outsourced payroll providers and international payroll operations.
  • Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
  • Previous experience with payroll reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and payroll reporting would be highly advantageous.
