Registered General Nurse with Nursing Home Experience (Nurse Qualified) Maria Mallaband, Leeds, GB
Bank role – for flexibility on hours. Requires nursing home experience and a strong understanding of dementia and complex care.
Excellent understanding of PCS system, medication management, and leadership skills.
Key responsibilities
- Medication administration and care planning
- Providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to residents
- Ensuring safeguarding principles are maintained
- Taking responsibility for shifts as Nurse in charge
- Team management and shift planning
- Infection prevention and control
- Liaising with General Practitioners and Multidisciplinary Teams
- Upholding clinical governance standards

Essential qualifications
- A Nursing qualification recognised by the UK NMC
- A valid UK NMC PIN and registration to practice as Registered General Nurse (RGN)/Learning & Disability Nurse (RNLD)/Mental Health Nurse (RMN)
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as assisting residents with mobility
Other skills
- Strong clinical decision-making, leadership, and care planning
- Bloods
- Medication administration
- Good understanding of Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty
