Due to expansion within our HR team, we are excited to be recruiting for an Employee Relations Advisor to join us and provide guidance, support, and advice to our internal stakeholders.
About the role
The Employee Relations Advisor will report to our Group Employee Relations Manager and deliver an outstanding support service to our colleagues and Managers. They will ensure a fair and consistent approach to all the Company's policies and procedures, while promoting a positive culture and minimising risks.
Responsibilities
- Managing a varied portfolio of ER cases.
- Supporting and coaching Managers to resolve people-related issues, such as disciplinaries, performance management, employment tribunals, absence management and grievances.
- Contributing to the development of people policies and procedures.
- Proactively identifying solutions to minimise risk and introduce process efficiencies.
- Promoting positive relationships across the business and developing these across all departments.
For this position, we are looking for a confident and resilient individual with a βcan-do' approach who is ready to add value to the team through their experience and skills.
Skills and qualifications
- Demonstrable experience managing multiple cases, ideally across a number of key policies.
- Ability to educate and coach others.
- Resilience and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Knowledge of ER processes and procedures.
- An understanding of work in a regulated environment.
- Good IT skills and use of Microsoft Office package.
- CIPD Level 3 or comparable business experience.
