A new and exciting vacancy has arisen for a dynamic Quality Support Partner to join the Quality team at MMCG. The successful candidate will support specific services in a designated area in around North London, Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes.

The post holder will be part of the quality team and adopt a hands-on practical approach to delivering positive improvement and change within a service. The main function of the role is to be deployed into a service which requires care support to achieve quality-focused outcomes, such as coaching staff on medicine management, writing and evaluating person-centred care plans, and supporting in the management of individual care needs.

As a Quality Support Partner, you'll deliver warm, empathetic, and respectful care and support across an allocated group of care homes. On a practical level, you will support the homes by completing identified actions that have been generated from internal audits. The post holder will report to the Head of Quality Excellence.

Our ideal Quality Support Partner will have the following skills and values:

  • Care Practitioner / Senior Care Level – holding NVQ 3 as a minimum
  • At least 2 years in a Care Home setting is desirable
  • A practical, 'hands-on' approach – working on the floor guiding, coaching, and training staff
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Sound knowledge of regulatory standards, statutory requirements in a care home setting, and of improvement methods with the ability to guide, coach, and practically empower services to implement change
  • Experience of conducting checks of medications, care plan completion & staff observation – adopting the principle of showing the person, watching the person complete, and providing feedback
  • Experience in supporting others to manage a shift through delegation and allocation of staff
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience of developing links with healthcare professionals and external organisations
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • An ability to work flexibly to the needs of the service and organisation
