To support the planning, creation and delivery of a welcoming and inviting home‑based Lifestyle Programme aimed at encouraging residents to participate and engage in a wide‑ranging variety of activities. Offered as part of our groupwide More… Programme, the focus is on ensuring that resident interests and needs are met consistently and creatively whilst adapting to varying levels of physical and mental ability.
About You: We provide full training, so we’d also love to hear from you whatever your background. It is just as important that you’re organised, have great communication skills, and that you’re flexible enough to work shifts. We also believe in giving you a great career pathway, so maybe your next step might be Nurse Associate and we are committed to supporting you on your journey. Please be aware, shifts will be required across a 7‑day period, with patterns scheduled on a rota basis, including weekends.
Knowledge / Experience:
- An understanding of the role social interaction plays in the general wellbeing of people.
- Ability to assist in the delivery of lifestyle sessions both on a group and individual basis.
- Ability to assist in the development of strong community links and the delivery of successful events.
- Ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
- Ability to assist in consistent delivery and implementation of new concepts and ideas.
- Demonstration of the potential to develop through the attainment of Lifestyle / Activities training and qualifications.
