We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Food Technology Subject Lead to join our school and lead the Food Science curriculum up to Key Stage 4, inspiring students to develop practical skills and a deep understanding of food technology.
Contract and Position

- Minimum Experience: 3 years
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) required

Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, delivery and assessment of the Food Science curriculum.
- Manage resources and support colleagues within the department.
- Promote student engagement through innovative teaching practices.
- Coordinate subject activities and ensure curriculum standards are met.
Skills and Qualifications
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).
- Minimum of three years’ experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of Key Stage 4 curriculum requirements for GCSE Food Preparation and Nutrition.
- Proven leadership skills with experience in subject coordination or team management.
