About the Role
We are seeking a Health and Safety Administrator to support the Corporate Health and Safety department at MARI over the busy period of winter events). This is a supporting role at the heart of MARI's Health and Safety team in London. You'll sit within Shared Services working closely with the events departments, and your work will have direct impact on demonstrating key health and safety measurables across all UK winter events for MARI.

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Health and Safety Administrator to support the smooth running of our health and safety function. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping systems, records, and processes in order, and who wants to build a career in health and safety. You will provide administrative and coordination support across all aspects of health and safety compliance, helping to ensure the organisation meets its legal obligations and maintains a safe working environment for all staff during the winter events.

This is a Fixed Term Contract role and candidates must be based in commuting distance of London
You'll be part of a hybrid team that values both connection and flexibility. We'll cover the details of our hybrid schedule during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date health and safety records, including incident reports, risk assessments, training logs, and inspection checklists.
  • Support the logging, investigation, and follow-up of accidents, near misses, and hazards, ensuring corrective actions are tracked to completion.
  • Assist in preparing and distributing health and safety policies, procedures, and communications to staff.
  • Help organise and support internal audits, site inspections, and external compliance visits.
  • Maintain the health and safety document management system, ensuring version control and accessibility of key documents.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Health and Safety Director and wider Health and Safety consultants, including diary management, meeting minutes, and report preparation.
  • Respond to routine health and safety queries from staff and escalate more complex issues as needed.
  • Support the collation of data for health and safety reporting and management reviews.


Essential Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a health and safety, HR, or compliance environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software systems.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
