About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Vice President, Human Resources to lead our EMEA and APAC HR function at MARI. This leader will oversee a team of HR Business Partners and HR Generalists who support multiple business units across the region. The VP, HR will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, driving organizational effectiveness, scaling HR best practices, and strengthening our culture across diverse and fast-paced operating environments. This individual will champion change initiatives, manage complex employee relations issues, lead core people programs, ensure compliance across jurisdictions, and support our business as it rapidly evolves. The role will also play a critical part in supporting organizational growth through acquisitions and successfully integrating new businesses into the company.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Partner with regional and global leadership to ensure HR strategies align with business goals and support long-term organizational success.
    • Lead and develop an HRBP and HR Generalist team across EMEA and APAC, ensuring strong business partnership and high-quality service delivery.
    • Provide proactive counsel to executives on talent strategy, organizational design, workforce planning, and culture.
    • Support integration efforts for newly acquired businesses, ensuring alignment with organizational values, policies, and operating models.
  • Organizational Design & Change Management
    • Lead organizational design efforts to support scaling teams, restructuring needs, and evolving business priorities.
    • Drive change management initiatives during periods of growth, transformation, acquisition, or integration, ensuring employee clarity and alignment.
    • Assess organizational health and recommend interventions to improve effectiveness.
  • Core HR Programs & Talent Processes
    • Oversee the delivery and continual improvement of core people processes such as performance management, onboarding, compensation cycles, succession planning, and talent reviews.
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Global HR Operations to implement consistent, high-quality processes across EMEA and APAC.
    • Drive initiatives that build leadership capability and strengthen manager effectiveness.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance
    • Ensure all HR activities comply with local employment laws and regulations across EMEA and APAC, in partnership with legal counsel.
    • Oversee employee relations, ensuring fair, consistent, and risk-aligned practices across the region.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of EMEA and APAC labor law and implement updates as needed.
  • People Experience & Culture
    • Champion a positive employee experience and help foster a culture of accountability, creativity, inclusion, and operational excellence.
    • Lead initiatives that improve engagement and strengthen the employee value proposition in the competitive live entertainment landscape.
    • Support cultural integration efforts for newly acquired teams to ensure seamless transition and alignment.
  • HR Operations & Best Practices
    • Implement scalable HR processes that improve operational efficiency and enhance employee support.
    • Leverage people analytics to provide insights and drive data-informed decision-making.
    • Partner with global HR operations to ensure seamless HR systems, policies, and processes across EMEA and APAC.
    • Support due diligence and HR integration planning during mergers or acquisitions.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally with significant exposure to the EMEA and APAC region.
  • Experience leading an HRBP team and supporting distributed, multi-country workforces.
  • Strong background in change management, organizational design, and employee relations.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting organizational growth through acquisitions and successfully integrating new businesses.
  • Deep knowledge of EMEA and APAC labor regulations and HR best practices.
  • Proven success supporting fast-paced, operationally complex businesses—experience in live events, entertainment, hospitality, venues, sports, or similar industries is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and leading through rapid growth or organizational transformation.
