We are seeking a Finance Administrator to join our team within an Authorised Corporate Director (ACD) firm. This role is integral to provide accounting and administration support within our Principal Finance Team. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for Transfer Agency (TA) cash settlements, Client Money Reconciliation and liaising with internal Client Operations Department to resolve client queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transfer Agency Trade and Deal Settlements
  • Process and reconcile TA cash movements, including subscriptions, redemptions, and distributions.
  • Ensure settlement deadlines are met, and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
  • Liaise with Transfer Agents, custodians, and internal teams to maintain accurate records.
  • Client Money Compliance and Regulation
  • Maintain compliance with FCA regulations and internal policies.
  • Ensure all daily internal and external client money reconciliations are completed accurately and timely in compliance with the relevant CASS rule.
  • Assist with CMAR Returns, data gathering and submission.
  • Ensure procedures are kept up to date.
  • Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare reconciliations and assist with financial reporting for stakeholders.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Prepare monthly Scheme annual management charge and administration invoices.

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in financial services or accounting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or qualification relevant to role description.
  • Knowledge or awareness of client money regulation, CASS experience desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
