My client is a major engineering company based in Renfrewshire, they are looking to recruit a buyer to head up their purchasing function. You will head up a small team, working with engineers and the commercial team to ensure the best value for the purchase of a range of engineering materials and services across the group. The role is pivotal across the company with purchasing budgets going to several million pounds.
On-going review of supply chains and leading continuous improvement initiatives to ensure best value for money. You should have 5 years purchasing experience and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
