My client is a well established sub contract engineering business based in Glasgow. They manufacture a range of parts for various industries and sectors. As a result of a forthcoming retirement, they are looking for a CNC Miller to join their team.
You will be machining a range of components in various materials. Experience of programming is highly advantageous. You will be operating a range of HURCO machines. The work is varied and interesting since the company is highly experienced in developing prototype models and components for its clients, giving you the opportunity to develop your machining/milling skills as well as working alongside a team of highly experienced Millers/machinists.
The hours of work are 7am to 4.15pm Monday to Thursday with a Friday off. Overtime is also available. The company offers a very settled environment; the average length of service is over 20 years on the shop floor. They are offering a competitive rate of pay and overtime.
