Chief Operating Officer -Commercial in Glasgow

My Client is a well established manufacturing business based in the west coast of Scotland. As a result of succession planning they are looking to recruit a chief operating officer to maintain the growth and development of the business. You will be backed by an established management team who have delivered excellent results in a testing environment.

While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.
Reporting directly to the board you will be responsible overall strategic direction of the business, and ensuring that financial and commercial objectives are met. The role will involve extensive customer liaison and being the "Front" of the business. Duties will include development of of existing customers and working with the technical team to commercialise new business opportunities.
It is expected you will have a strong manufacturing background, an ability to think strategically as well as an attention to detail and follow and develop key lines of leadership. You will have a track record in developing business and client relationships. A technical science or engineering qualification is highly advantageous. xohmjla
