My client is a well-known manufacturer of control panels. As a result of increased levels of business, they are looking for a Fitter to join their team. The role involves assembling, installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical equipment and systems in a workshop setting.

You will be installing a range of metal and wire electrical components (motors, panels, control systems). An ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics is advantageous. Other duties will include testing and troubleshooting electrical systems. From time to time, you will also carry out maintenance and repairs.

Good hand tooling skills are required, as well as attention to detail and the ability to work as part of a team. The company offers an excellent base rate with overtime, pension, and benefits, as well as the opportunity for progression within both the workshop and the wider business.
