Overview
At Margaret Green Animal Rescue, we are recruiting a Deputy Area Retail Manager to provide support for our Area Retail Manager and network of charity shops across Dorset.
We are looking for someone to drive trading performance and profitable growth across our charity’s retail department and its developing online sales channels.
Retail is one of the two largest levers for raising income for our charity and supporting our three centres, which rescue and rehome dogs, cats, horses, farm and small animals.
The role will involve looking at ways to increase the average profit generated in each shop, while building the stock flows, systems and team capability needed to scale e-commerce alongside the physical stores.
As our Deputy Area Retail Manager, your normal hours of work will be 37.5 hours per week (shifts between the hours of 8:30am - 5pm) over 5 days.
