About the role:
This is a full-time on-site role for Senior Podiatrists at Margaret Dabbs London located in London. The Senior and Principal Podiatrist position will involve conducting medical assessments, providing podiatry treatments, specialising in biomechanics and orthotics and overseeing foot care services.
Your responsibilities will include:
- To deliver a top-tier podiatry service that encompasses all clinical responsibilities, ensuring customers enjoy an exceptional treatment experience and brand journey.
- Guarantee that foot clinics operate in accordance with the highest MDL standards, while complying with podiatrist regulations and best practices.
- Perform a diverse array of podiatry treatments, including but not limited to biomechanics, cryotherapy, laser nail treatments, lower laser therapy, taping, nail surgery, foot acupuncture, and foot manipulation and mobilisation.
- As the principal podiatrist, provide guidance and support to other staff members regarding complex treatments and all facets of customer care.
- Effectively address customer complaints, ensuring they are managed according to established procedures.
- Assist in implementing new procedures and protocols related to health, safety, hygiene, clinical standards, and treatment protocols across various clinics, while suggesting and recommending enhancements in all areas of the podiatry clinics.
- Promote the entire range of products available in the MDL clinics, possessing in-depth knowledge of MDL products to share this information with staff, patients, or clients, and to meet established targets.
- Conduct training sessions as requested and identify development needs to foster the continuous growth of MDL staff.
- Collaborate with senior staff to ensure staffing levels meet requirements, overseeing the clinic podiatry team with support from Podiatrist Managers and Head of Podiatry when necessary.
- Ensure appropriate levels of clinic supplies are maintained, overseeing stock ordering, stock taking, and stock control while liaising with external partners (laboratories, referrals, etc.).
- Serve as an ambassador, representing MDL at events, with the press, clients, and other organisations as needed.
- Fulfil any additional responsibilities assigned by the senior team in collaboration with the post holder, as required from time to time.
You’ll have:
- HCPC Registered
- 5 Years working experience in podiatry
- Relevant certifications and licenses in Podiatry
- Previous experience in a luxury or spa setting is an advantage
What you’ll get:
- 12.5% of any MDL retail products sold by you
- 5% of any courses of Luxury Medical Pedicures with FHP sold by you.
- £20 per each Foot balance orthotics
- 5% of each laser treatment
Other Benefits:
- 28 days annual leave with extra holiday entitlement to increase with length of service.
- £100 Saturday supplement for each Saturday that you work.
- CPD allowance of £1,000 to be used over a 2 year period.
- Any extra days worked by you (to cover extra demand, holiday periods or sick days) beyond the contractual terms (where there have not been any sick days taken within the month) will be paid at 1.5 day rate.
