About Margaret Dabbs London

Margaret Dabbs London is an award-winning luxury beauty and clinic brand, internationally renowned for its expertise and innovation across Feet, Hands, Legs and Nails. Combining clinically inspired treatments with results-driven product innovation, the brand operates across DTC, retail, travel retail and an international network of clinics and partners. The business is also home to Bare Feet and Hands by Margaret Dabbs, bringing Margaret's expertise to a broader audience.

With continued growth across the UK, Europe, US and Asia, this is an exciting opportunity to join at an important stage of our international development.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced, commercially minded and hands-on Head of Marketing to lead day-to-day marketing across Margaret Dabbs London. You will lead a small in-house marketing and creative team and coordinate three specialist agency partners covering performance marketing and web development, UK PR and US PR.

This is a broad role spanning brand, DTC, retail, clinics, international markets, NPD, social media, PR and commercial marketing. The objective: build the team, processes, brand awareness and engagement, acquire and retain customers, support our commercial channels and drive revenue growth in the UK and internationally.

This is not a purely strategic position. You will stay close to the work – developing campaigns and briefs, reviewing creative, coordinating launches, interrogating performance and ensuring delivery on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the marketing strategy with the Chief of Staff, Sales and senior leadership.
  • Translate commercial priorities into clear, coordinated marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Drive measurable acquisition, retention and revenue growth across the UK, US and priority European markets.
  • Own the annual marketing calendar across DTC, retail, clinics, launches and international markets.
  • Align marketing investment to clear commercial objectives and KPIs.
  • Lead and develop the Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer through coaching and regular feedback.
  • Set clear priorities, deadlines and standards, supported by documented marketing processes.

Agency Management

Manage and maximise three key partners:

  • A full-service performance marketing agency (organic search, paid media, website development and maintenance, email/CRM and wider strategic projects).
  • A US PR agency building awareness in the US market.
  • A UK PR agency growing awareness through print, digital and editorial.

You will brief, coordinate and challenge agencies, holding them accountable for agreed outputs, with enough cross-discipline experience to interrogate their recommendations and performance.

DTC & E-commerce

  • Coordinate activity across the UK, European and US websites.
  • Work with the performance agency to drive traffic, acquisition, conversion, repeat purchase and customer value.
  • Integrate paid, organic, CRM/email, social and promotional activity into one programme.
  • Identify website priorities and improvements with the web agency and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead the marketing implementation and development of a customer loyalty programme.

Brand, Campaigns & Creative

  • Protect and develop the brand's positioning, standards and tone of voice across consumer, trade and clinic communications.
  • Write strong campaign briefs and ensure creative reflects the brand's premium positioning.
  • Maintain approval processes that keep quality high without slowing pace.

Organic Social Media

  • Lead organic social strategy across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.
  • Grow reach, engagement and advocacy, linking social to campaigns, launches, clinics and PR.
  • Capitalise on emerging formats, trends and creators, using data to continually improve.

New Product Development & Launches

  • Lead the marketing workstream within the product development roadmap.
  • Shape positioning, messaging, packaging and go-to-market for new products.
  • Build structured launch plans across DTC, retail, PR, social, email, paid, clinics and international partners, and review performance afterwards.

Retail, QVC & Commercial Marketing

  • Create collateral, presentations and campaign support for existing and prospective retailers and distributors.
  • Support new retailer launches, key trading periods and travel retail.
  • Support QVC UK and QVC Germany with collateral and activity around appearances, launches and promotions.

Clinics

  • Develop campaigns to build awareness and bookings for UK clinics, providing clinic teams with materials and support.
  • Travel to UK clinics where required.

International & Franchise Marketing

  • Support clinic and franchise partners across Asia, Europe and the US with brand guidelines, assets, campaigns and launch information.
  • Maintain consistent international brand standards, adapting central programmes for individual markets.

PR & Brand Awareness

  • Coordinate UK and US PR around agreed priorities, supporting launches, brand storytelling and Margaret Dabbs' profile.
  • Integrate earned media with social, DTC, retail and wider campaigns.

Budget, Performance & Reporting

  • Support the development and management of the annual marketing budget.
  • Monitor performance across channels and partners against agreed KPIs.
  • Provide leadership with concise, commercially relevant reporting on performance, opportunities and risks.

What Success Looks Like

  • A coordinated marketing calendar across both brands and all major channels.
  • Growth in acquisition, retention and revenue across the UK, US and Europe.
  • Stronger brand awareness, engagement and consideration.
  • Teams and agencies working to clear briefs, deadlines and measurable objectives.
  • More impactful, consistently executed product launches.
  • Organic social as a stronger driver of engagement and advocacy.
  • A structured, efficient and motivated marketing team, with clear visibility for senior management over investment and performance.

About You

You combine strategic thinking with the willingness to stay hands-on. You will ideally have:

  • Experience at Senior Marketing Manager, Head of Marketing or equivalent level.
  • Beauty, skincare or cosmetics experience, ideally premium or luxury (strongly preferred).
  • Experience across both DTC/e-commerce and retail/B2B channels.
  • A strong understanding of how marketing drives acquisition, retention and revenue.
  • Experience leading and developing junior team members.
  • A track record of briefing, managing and challenging specialist agencies.
  • Experience of product launches and NPD marketing.
  • Broad multi-discipline experience across digital performance, CRM/email, organic social, PR, e-commerce and brand.
  • Strong project management skills, juggling multiple campaigns, stakeholders and deadlines.
  • Confidence working with Founders/CEOs, Chief of Staff and senior commercial stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, strong creative judgement and a commercial, results-oriented mindset.
  • Experience of clinics, treatment-led beauty, QVC, retail partnerships, distributors or franchises would be advantageous.

Most importantly, you will enjoy a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where priorities move quickly – equally happy discussing international growth with leadership, challenging an agency, reviewing a campaign concept or supporting your team.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary plus a discretionary target-based bonus linked to agreed KPIs
  • A senior, high-impact role with direct exposure to the Founder and Chief of Staff
  • A central role in the next stage of growth of an established British luxury beauty brand, with significant international exposure
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays), plus one extra day for every two years of service
  • Paid day off for your birthday
  • Company pension scheme (auto-enrolment)
  • Reasonable business travel and expenses reimbursed
  • 35% staff discount on products and treatments, plus two staff shopping days per year at 50%
  • One free treatment voucher every six months for family and friends
  • New product launch gifts
  • Employee referral scheme (up to Β£500)
  • London gym membership
  • Social events (e.g. Christmas party, annual fish & chips evening)
  • Career development and regular salary reviews
