Are you passionate about using sport and physical activity to create opportunities, inspire people and change lives? Do you have the skills to build positive relationships with young people, the school community and wider partners? If so, we want to hear from you!

As a Project Activator, you will play a key role in taking a trauma‑informed and child‑centred approach to work with young people, either through 1-2-1 work, small group provision or supporting PE classes. This will be a varied and evolving remit, guided by the school, however the importance of positive relationships and using sport and physical activity for positive change will remain at the core.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take a child‑centred approach to activity provision
  • Support children’s rights and advocate for children
  • Work collaboratively with school staff, Sport Aberdeen colleagues, local partners, and young people to evolve provision

Please note that a car is required for this role as this post is citywide. Location: All posts are located within Secondary Schools within Aberdeen City. School and community based working will be expected.

2 x Full Time 37 hours per week. Full time posts will operate a flexi working policy, however will be expected to be school based during school hours. The part‑time post will see the post holder work from 8.30am-12.30pm daily.

Duration: Fixed term (term time) contract end date: 2nd July 2027.
