Are you passionate about using sport and physical activity to create opportunities, inspire people and change lives? Do you have the skills to build positive relationships with young people, the school community and wider partners? If so, we want to hear from you!

As a PE Assistant, you will play a key role in lifeguarding school swimming provision, supporting PE classes and taking a trauma-informed approach to building relationships with young people. This will be a varied and evolving remit, guided by the school, however the importance of positive relationships and using sport and physical activity for positive change will remain at the core.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hold an NPLQ and maintain professional development requirements
  • Take a child-centred approach to activity provision
  • Support children’s rights and advocate for children
  • Work collaboratively with school staff, Sport Aberdeen colleagues, local partners, and young people to evolve provision

Location: 2 x Full Time 37 hours per week: Full time posts will operate a flexi working policy, however will be expected to be school based during school hours.

Duration: Fixed term (term time) contract end date 2nd July 2027
