What You'll Do

  • Dispensing of medication to patients
  • Over-the-counter sales of non-prescription medication
  • Check and monitor prescription slips
  • Health & safety responsibility
  • Rotation of stock
  • Use of patient record systems and use of smart cards
  • Data entry relating to medication
  • Labelling and dispensing
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Working within a team environment
  • Liaison with doctors, surgery and health professionals
  • Completion of apprenticeship work on time
