Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Store Manager role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The Assistant Store Manager will support daily store operations, including overseeing opening and closing procedures, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and ensuring a welcoming, brand-aligned environment. The role involves leading and coaching store team members, driving exceptional customer service, and promoting the Marfa Stance ethos to all visitors. The Assistant Store Manager will assist in monitoring sales performance, managing inventory, and implementing retail loss prevention practices. This position also collaborates with the Store Manager and wider brand team to execute in-store events, provide product education, and contribute to continuous improvement of the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with a focus on creating memorable experiences and building long-term relationships.
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact confidently with customers, colleagues, and external partners.
- Experience in Store Management or supervisory retail roles, including team coordination, basic reporting, and day-to-day operational support.
- Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, with the ability to uphold store policies and safeguard stock and assets.
- Previous experience in premium or luxury retail, ideally within fashion or apparel, is highly beneficial.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with basic point-of-sale systems and retail technology; comfort with using digital tools to support operations and reporting.
