About the role: This role is for individuals who are looking to work in a fast paced and high energy sales environment at a market-leading foreign exchange brokerage. The right individuals will have the opportunity to earn life changing money and share life changing experiences. Hamilton Court FX are FCA Regulated Currency Market Experts, offering Foreign Exchange, FX Options, and Bespoke structured products. We are looking for professionals who are passionate about going after new business, eager to continue learning and growing professionally within FX sales. There will be high phone activity as well as Teams and face to face meetings, to build long lasting relationships and close deals. We want you to be inspired, challenged and motivated to succeed so we offer strong onboarding & training delivered by everyone in the team and other departments (and external sources), fully paid exams to get regulated as well as guidance and support from our senior sales managers. We pride ourselves on paying some of the highest year one commission (up to 25%) and up to 16% for the life of the client while at HCFX. We want everyone who joins this team to have had a great experience that will shape their future career and success, regardless of success and tenure here. Our office is in Central London (Mayfair) and this role is office based for the first year at least; if an individual is exceptional and it will benefit them and the business to have a hybrid, we are open to it!
Key responsibilities:
- Researching prospective clients to understand their business and potential requirements, adding and disqualifying leads daily.
- Making introductory calls to new corporate clients.
- Building a sales pipeline alongside multiple mentors with 10+ years FX sales experience.
- Ensuring all revenue targets are met in line with FCA regulations and that the interests of the client are at the forefront of all sales activity.
- Developing internal relationships with all departments in the business, one team, one dream!
- Being aware of and taking an active interest in FX movements and the world economy and how this impacts prospects and clientsβ financial performance.
- Meeting weekly and monthly targets on call performance, quality and sales.
- Attending regular training sessions, taking initiative to listen to own calls and others, holding yourself and peers accountable, owning your success.
- Keeping up to date with market structure changes and regulation.
Essential experience & skills:
- Ideally 1-2 years of sales experience (not compulsory).
- Resilient, strong communication skills and confidence on the phone, as well as in person.
- Taking feedback and acting upon it fast.
- Goal-oriented and persistent, both short-term and long-term.
- Fluent English language.
