As a Technology Graduate, you will have the opportunity to launch your career in Financial Technology, applying your skills while receiving on-the-job coaching from experienced technology experts. This role involves taking charge of operational and project-related tasks within our dynamic Technology function, collaborating closely with a team to build products and services across key facets of a modern technology organisation.
The Software Development function creates and maintains applications, frameworks and other software components to meet business requirements. Developers are responsible for conceiving, specifying, designing, programming, documenting, testing, and delivering new software and bug fixes as needed.

Role Responsibilities include:
- Designing, coding and testing all components of modern web applications
- Contributing to the overall architecture and design of the technology created/maintained by the development delivery team
- Developing solutions that are maintainable, testable and meet the requirements’ acceptance criteria
- Adhering to development best practices and processes
- Communicating with team members, introducing ideas and keeping abreast of the latest technologies
- Ensuring delivered systems are of production quality
- Ensuring software is adequately documented for handover to the business
- Following coding standards and defined development process
- Resolving third line support issues in a professional and timely manner
In common with all staff, responsibilities also include:
- Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the FCA
- Adhering to the operational risk framework for your role
- Acting as a role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct
- Complying with the FCA’s Code of Conduct
- Being aware of and adhering to internal policies related to your role
- Reporting any breaches of policy to Compliance and/or your supervisor as required
- Escalating risk events immediately
- Providing input to risk management processes, as required

Professional Qualifications include being degree educated (Technology based) / BEng/BSc or equivalent.
