The depth of knowledge amongst its teams and divisions provides its customers with clear advantage, and its technology‑led service provides access to all major exchanges, order‑flow management via screen, voice and DMA, plus award‑winning data, insights and analytics.

The Client Coverage & Cross‑Selling function is responsible for identifying and converting cross‑selling opportunities across Marex’s existing client base.

The team works closely with Relationship Managers, Sales and Data to surface and action expansion opportunities, with a particular focus on Top Tier and multi‑segment clients.

The function manages the CRM client intelligence platform and the Cross‑Selling Power BI suite, providing the firm with a single, reliable view of coverage and client‑expansion actions.

Role Summary

Sitting within the Cross‑Selling function, this role turns client, revenue and segment data into actionable growth opportunities.

The Cross‑Selling Analyst is the analytical engine behind the strategy quantifying the opportunity, tracking conversion through the revenue tiers, and equipping sales and relationship teams with the insight needed to deepen existing client relationships across product, service and geographic coverage.

Responsibilities (role specific)

  • Manage cross‑selling introductions end‑to‑end to drive conversion.
  • Lead integration activity to build cross‑selling plans for acquisitions.
  • Run Client Expansion Assessments and oversee the resulting actions.
  • Research and prepare responses to client coverage questions.
  • Surface priority mid‑tier clients and support their progression to the top revenue tiers through targeted engagement.
  • Analyse client revenue, segment penetration and tier progression to identify and size cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Track the opportunity pipeline and produce client expansion assessments for sales and leadership.
  • Monitor multi‑segment penetration and conversion, identifying what works so it can be scaled across coverage.
  • Collect insight on dropped clients and movements needing investigation.

Responsibilities (all staff)

  • Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the FCA, NFA, AMF, AFM, MAS.
  • Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.

  • To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility.

Skills and Experience

  • Engineering, Data and/or Finance background (or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and research skills, comfortable interrogating large client and revenue datasets.
  • Hands‑on Power BI development, data modelling, dashboards and reporting.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data visualisation tools.
  • Confidence working with revenue, client and segmentation datasets.
  • Excellent written communication for client‑coverage responses and group materials.
  • Highly organised; able to track and oversee actions through to completion.

Desirable

  • Exposure to financial services or commodities markets.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and client intelligence platforms.
  • Experience working with CRM or similar client management tools.
