In this role, you will work directly with the Head of Derivatives Trading, providing technical leadership to a team of 10 developers and testers in London and Ukraine. The ideal candidate is passionate about software design, DevOps, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:- Architecture and design of the team’s technology stack.
- Line management and team optimization.
- Collaborate on application direction with the Head of Derivatives Trading.
- Define strategic roadmaps with development leads.
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring timeliness and budget adherence.
- Engage with business users and QA to define requirements and updates.
- Maintain production-grade systems and documentation.
- Establish and enforce software development best practices.
- Lead sprint planning, demos, and stakeholder communication.
- Prioritize and prepare stories and bugs for development cycles.
- Resolve support issues professionally and promptly.
- Promote cross-team collaboration and shared initiatives.
