Role Summary
The role sits within the Agricultural sales team who work across a range of agricultural commodities including Coffee, Cocoa and Palm Oil amongst others. The position will include providing support to senior brokers and servicing a portfolio of clients, whilst managing administrative needs on the desk. High performers in this role have the potential to move into a sales and/or analytical role depending on suitability.
Responsibilities
- Act in sales and admin capacity and act in the best interest of clients in accordance with regulatory duties
- Active interest in Agricultural products
- Perform administrative tasks for a smooth operation of the desk
- Actively interact with clients
- Enter and manage orders efficiently whilst minimizing human errors
- Support senior brokers in admin and client related tasks
- Client entertainment / travelling
- Distributing information to client base
- Computer and system skills, work on improving existing systems
- Act in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Actively seek new business for the company and/or develop analytical skills
- Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under the FCA and NFA
