Capital Markets is a division of Marex offering an array of products and services to clients as well as to internal trading desks. This role is interest rate specific and will be supporting the COO team to establish the frameworks and controls around the Interest Rates business within Capital Markets. You will need experience of Swaps and Fixed Income (bond) products, gained either in an operational role or in a junior business management role.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of new business initiatives, aided by Senior Business Managers in the team, following and improving the group's change process.
  • Demonstrate the ability to challenge new business initiatives to ensure they are aligned with business strategy and sensible from a cost/benefit aspect.
  • Offer support to all senior business managers and members of the COO team.
  • Deliver effective communication with key stakeholders.
  • Responsible for establishing project plans, identifying scope.
  • Develop expertise in a specific business area/asset class to become a designated Business Manager for desks across the division.
  • Create, review and improve existing MI and KPIs to effectively monitor and steer the business.
  • Create transparency around costs and budgets and drive efficiencies and cost reductions.
  • Drive change for the Capital Markets division by establishing new processes, reviewing existing ones and identifying enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements.
