Individual will be based in Finance working closely with HR and Company Secretary to administer and account for the executive compensation schemes. Marex executive comp is mainly comprised of deferred equity and the role will be responsible for maintaining the equity records in order to meet all financial and sheme reporting requirements.
Responsibilities
- Deferred Equity Administration:
- Collect and format equity grant information.
- Assist with awards and vesting processes.
- Process equity plan provisions for terminations.
- Ensure compliance with SOX audit guidelines.
- Monitor and update insider trading status.
- Reporting and Analysis:
- Perform accounting for stock compensation under IFRS2.
- Accounting for Control & Support Bonuses
- Prepare reports for compensation and stock accounting.
- Perform GAAP research and prepare presentations.
- Budgeting and Reconciliation:
- Assist with annual budgeting for compensation plans.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations for bonuses.
- Perform SOX controls and maintain evidence.
- Financial Modeling and Analysis:
- Model and analyze financial performance related to compensation plans.
- Develop tools to monitor peer groups and compensation programs.
- Forecast and model incentive compensation plan changes.
- Regulatory:
- Draft compensation-related proxy tables.
- Collaborate on compensation items for the proxy statement
- Prepare materials for Compensation Committee meetings.
- 10-K annual report including supporting analysis and disclosures
- Assist with Earnings Per Share (EPS) calculation
- Participant Support:
- Assist with equity matters related to vesting, cancellation, and other events.
- Administer annual planning for executive compensation.
- Ad Hoc Analysis:
- Perform complex analysis using Excel.
