Role Description
Marex Clearing Services is an Execution and Clearing business that is focused on the Global wholesale market that includes Banks, Funds, Asset Managers, Corporates and trading groups. This role would be well suited to a junior professional looking to build a career in clearing and client services. With a focus on client onboarding, relationship and stakeholder management, the successful candidate will work closely alongside experienced sales teams to support the full end-to-end integration of clients from initial engagement through to technical setup and go-live. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and detail-oriented individual to develop deep expertise in clearing, build meaningful client relationships, and gain broad exposure to the operational and commercial mechanics of a fast-growing global clearing business.
Role Location
This role is ideally suited to candidates based in or willing to work from our London office initially, with a view to relocating to Abu Dhabi once sufficiently trained and embedded within the business. We will also consider candidates already based in the region.
Responsibilities
- On-boarding:
- KYC reviews
- Managing client onboardings and internal project management on new onboards
- Managing stakeholders internally and externally to ensure efficient onboarding process
- Assessing bespoke or non-standard client requirements and their merit in context of potential revenue, resource requirements and existing/future product agenda
- On-boarding new clients through to go-live; delivering front-to-back clearing setup; Preparing documentation
- Ensure that clients have access to exchanges and order routing platforms to enable their trading requirements
- Help to ensure Marex complies with its exchange regulatory obligations when connecting clients to exchanges
- Ongoing:
- Designing and delivering innovative client solutions to win business and retain revenues
- Communicating market and regulatory change and its impact to clients
- Dealing with risk and treasury issues
- Developing and managing client KPIs
- Improving / streamlining existing client clearing processes
- Working with business development, ops and IT, ensuring strategy meets client & business requirements
- Undertaking regular project work to improve client offering and technology
- Undertaking quarterly/annual client reviews of relationships, revenue targets, growth opportunities, under-performing clients, in partnership with sales and marketing and other relationship managers
- Assist in producing client reports
- Ensuring compliance with the company’s regulatory requirements under local governing bodies
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring that all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with
