What you’ll be doing
- Install, commission, and service Proseal machinery at customer sites across the region
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical faults quickly and effectively
- Provide customer training on the operation and maintenance of equipment
- Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve reliability
- Deliver technical support both on-site and remotely when required
- Identify opportunities for spare parts sales, service contracts, and upgrades
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with Proseal and statutory standards
About You
You are an electrically biased engineer who thrives in the field, solving problems, and supporting customers under pressure. You bring strong technical skills and a customer-focused approach, ensuring equipment is running efficiently and clients are satisfied.
You’ll bring:
- A recognised apprenticeship or qualification in electrical or mechatronic engineering (NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
- Experience working with automated machinery, ideally within the food industry
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills with electrical systems (mechanical knowledge an advantage)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer interaction
- Computer literacy and confidence with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF management)
- Valid UK driving licence and current passport (international travel may be required)
- A strong understanding of health and safety obligations
