As an Apprentice Kitchen Team Leader with Chef & Brewer, your motivational skills and passion for customer care make you the perfect person to lead our front of house teams. You'll ensure that each team member knows their stuff and can wow customers with a 5* experience. And it doesn't stop with food and drink! From quizzes to music evenings - your creativity and organisational skills can bring communities closer together.

As an Apprentice Kitchen Team Leader, you will:

  • Prepare, cook, and present food to brand standards, ensuring every dish is served with pride.
  • Support and guide the kitchen team, helping to organise service and maintain high performance during busy shifts.
  • Deputise for the Kitchen Manager or senior chefs when required, helping to resolve issues and keep service running smoothly.
  • Ensure all food hygiene, health & safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
  • Monitor stock levels, food preparation, and kitchen organisation to ensure efficient service.

What your apprenticeship includes:

  • You won't need to attend college, our apprenticeships are delivered through work-based training.
  • Obtain Functional Skills in English and maths, with support tailored to your needs.
  • Reviews every 12 weeks with the Apprentice, Line Manager and Lifetime Learner Coach including feedback sessions.
