Marden Lodge Primary are seeking an HLTA to join them on a part time, permanent basis.
Your opportunity: Working under the direction of the Headteacher, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children's learning, ensuring that every child has access to a high-quality, inclusive education. This role is ideal for someone who is confident delivering planned lessons, supporting children with a range of needs, and committed to fostering a safe, engaging and positive learning environment. What we are looking for:
- Hold relevant qualifications, including a good general education (GCSE English and Maths at Grade C or above) and an HLTA qualification.
- Have experience in supporting and delivering lessons to whole classes and supporting learning.
- Be skilled in adapting and delivering engaging learning strategies, managing behaviour effectively, and supporting pupils' emotional and academic development.
- Demonstrate strong organisational skills, including preparing resources, maintaining pupil records, and contributing to classroom planning.
- Show excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, working well with colleagues, children, and parents.
- Be motivated, flexible, and committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and safeguarding.
About Marden Lodge Primary School: Our School sits within an established cluster of Primary schools, overseen by a Regional Director. Along with Marden Lodge, our cluster includes the following other schools: Chestnut Park Primary School, Whyteleafe Primary School, Warlingham Village Primary School and Hillcroft Primary School. The Details: Start Date: 1st Sept 2026. Salary: GLF Specialist 1.1 - £27,061. Actual Salary: £8,000.57. Hours: 12.5 hrs per week (2 days 6.25 hrs 8.30 – 3.15) - term time only. Closing Date: 14 July 2026.
