Your opportunity
As an EYFS Teacher at Marden Lodge Primary School you will play a vital role in giving children the strongest possible start to their learning journey. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality teaching and creating engaging purposeful learning experiences that enable every child to make excellent progress across all areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage. In this role you will plan and teach well‑structured lessons, set clear learning targets and regularly assess and monitor children's progress to ensure they are continuously supported and challenged. You will work closely with classroom support staff, use ICT effectively to enhance learning and assessment, and maintain accurate records of children's development and attainment. Beyond classroom teaching you will nurture children's personal, social and emotional development, promote their wellbeing and maintain a safe and positive learning environment. Strong communication with parents and carers is essential, as is contributing to wider school initiatives, staff development and Early Years improvement priorities. This is a collaborative role within a supportive school team offering opportunities for ongoing training, professional growth and involvement in whole‑school development.

- Qualified Teacher Status with a proven track record as a good or outstanding EYFS teacher.
- Strong ability to use assessment and data to inform planning, track progress and drive high‑quality outcomes.
- Experience supporting improvements in teaching and learning with evidence of contributing to colleagues' professional development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
