Overview An established and growing B2B engineering business is seeking an ambitious and commercially driven Sales Representative / Account Manager to strengthen and expand its sales function. The role focuses on winning more business, increasing revenue from existing clients and supporting the sales function. This position is ideal for a proven B2B sales professional with experience in technical or engineering-led environments, proven account development & management and good sales process. Key Responsibilities: Sales Representative / Account Manager * Proactively generate new business through cold calling, prospecting and developing new client relationships * Grow and maximise revenue from existing customer accounts through strategic account management * Identify, qualify and convert new sales opportunities across target sectors, mainly resellers * Manage sales appointments with customers, sales contracts & pipelines and track sales targets & processes * Collaborate closely with engineering and operational teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and delivered * Represent the business professionally at client meetings, site visits and industry events Key Requirements: Sales Representative / Account Manager * Strong track record in B2B sales, including cold calling, new business development & account management * Experience working within an engineering, technical or construction-related product or service environment (highly desirable) * Ability to balance new business acquisition with effective management of existing accounts * Structured, organised and process-driven approach to sales * Tenacious, proactive and results-focused mindset * Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills * Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer * Competitive salary of Β£35-45,000depending on experience * Performance-related bonus * Pension scheme This is an onsite sales / account manager role with occasional travel to UK customer sites. Commutable from Oxford, Leamington Spa, Warwick, Stratford-upon-Avon, Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Northampton, Coventry
