As Senior Product Manager, Vessel Projects, you will take ownership of Marcura's dry docking and inspections product area and evolve it into a more connected, data-driven workflow across the wider Marcura ecosystem. You will be responsible for understanding user needs across vessel technical management, dry dock planning, inspections, approvals, reporting, and project execution. You will identify where the ecosystem can create value, how data should be embedded into the user journey, and how integrations with partner systems can automate intake, outputs, and handoffs as much as possible.

You will work closely with Managed Vessel engineering, product, design, operations, customer-facing teams, and external partners to shape the product direction, define priorities, and drive delivery across the full product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for dry docking, inspections, and vessel technical project workflows.
  • Translate customer, operational, and business needs into clear product outcomes and delivery priorities.
  • Improve how technical project data is captured, structured, reused, and surfaced across the Marcura ecosystem.
  • Identify automation opportunities across intake, planning, approvals, documentation, reporting, and outputs.
  • Expand integrations with partner systems to reduce manual work and improve data quality.
  • Define success metrics, track adoption, and use insights to continuously improve the product.
  • Work with engineering to turn complex maritime workflows into simple, scalable product experiences.
  • Collaborate with commercial and customer-facing teams to support discovery, rollout, onboarding, and adoption.
  • Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term platform and ecosystem value.
  • Champion the use of AI agents and modern automation approaches to simplify workflows for users and internal teams.

We are looking for a senior product manager with deep knowledge of the maritime industry and vessel technical projects, especially dry docking, inspections, maintenance, or technical management workflows. You should have experience managing products across the full lifecycle, from discovery and inception through delivery, adoption, iteration, and eventual sunset. You should be comfortable designing ecosystem-led product experiences, using data to improve workflows, reduce friction, and solve meaningful user pain points. You should be highly effective with modern product tools and workflows, including MacBooks, Figma, Miro, and keyboard-driven productivity. You should also be confident using AI agents and automation tools in your daily work, with the ability to identify, build, or orchestrate tools that simplify and accelerate product management activities.

Key requirements include:
  • Expert understanding of maritime operations, vessel technical projects, dry docking, inspections, or related workflows.
  • Proven experience owning a complex B2B or enterprise product from strategy through execution.
  • Strong product discovery skills, including customer interviews, workflow mapping, problem framing, and opportunity sizing.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous operational problems into structured product requirements and clear delivery plans.
  • Experience working with engineering teams on APIs, integrations, data models, workflow automation, or platform capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of ecosystem plays, partner integrations, and how data can improve user experience and business outcomes.
  • Ability to define metrics, analyze adoption, and make product decisions based on evidence.
  • Excellent stakeholder management across engineering, operations, commercial, customer success, and leadership teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complex maritime and technical topics.
  • High ownership mindset, bias for action, and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment.
  • Advanced proficiency with Figma, Miro, modern productivity tools, and AI-enabled workflows.
  • Practical experience using AI agents, automation tools, or low-code/no-code approaches to improve personal and team productivity.
Key Success Factors / Impact
  • Successful Salesforce Org Consolidation: ShipServ Salesforce fully decommissioned on schedule; Business operations continue with minimal disruption; Reduction in licensing, maintenance, and operational complexity.
  • Strong Platform Governance & Technical Health: Clear architectural standards and DevOps discipline adopted across the group; High data quality and consistent security posture; Regular platform performance reviews and proactive optimisation.
