This is a senior people-partnering role β an evolution of the traditional HR business partner model, built around how Marcura creates value for its customers. You will act as a true strategic partner to a business domain, spending the majority of your time embedded in that area while also driving group-wide talent initiatives.
The role sits at the intersection of business strategy and people capability. You will carry the judgement and relationship work that connects People Operations and the Capability Innovation Centres of Excellence (CoEs) to deliver Marcura's Talent Strategy.
What You'll Do
- Domain Partnering
- Partner with domain leadership on capability, workforce and organisation needs β approximately 70% functional capability work, 30% embedded group talent initiatives.
- Own the people agenda for your domain: create and deliver a People framework and strategy tailored to it, and drive the culture, engagement and improvement initiatives that lift capability and performance.
- Connect the domain people plan to the group workforce model and value-creation plan.
- Skills, Talent & Careers
- Engage with the Skills & Capability Lead to define and land the Skills Taxonomy for the group and your partnered domain.
- Identify skills gaps and execute talent development programmes that close them.
- Elevate talent and performance management with the Skills & Capability Lead, and run the Talent Management cycle β including high-potential identification and succession planning.
- Design and execute career frameworks: levels, progression routes and development paths.
- Organisation Design & Change
- Run organisation design and capability build in the domain, and act on org-health signals to lead change.
- Support and challenge organisation-design decisions, bringing alternatives and organisational context.
- Cross-function Collaboration
- Lead the design and delivery of people initiatives in step with the CoEs, People Operations and the Talent Data / Insights team.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition on headcount planning and essential-role identification.
- Collaborate with the Reward team on pay, benefits and incentive structures.
- Advance Marcura's Employee Value Proposition.
- Advisory & Compliance
- Coach and advise senior leaders on people matters in support of the domain's goals.
- Ensure ongoing legal compliance and resolve complex employee issues.
Requirements
- Experience - Essential
- 10+ years of HRBP / senior people-partnering experience in Tech, Product or FinTech sectors.
- Proven track record in organisation design and capability build.
- Exposure to, or direct experience partnering with, Sales, Product or Operations functions.
- Experience operating in a multi-country or matrixed environment.
- Desired
- Experience in a PE-backed or transformation setting.
- Background in the maritime technology sector (nice to have).
Education
- University degree in HR, business or a related field.
- CIPD Level 7 or equivalent (desired).
- MBA, OD or change certification (advantageous).
