The Head of Reconciliations will be responsible for leading and optimizing the reconciliation processes across all financial transactions. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data, managing a team of reconciliation analysts, and compelling strategic initiatives to automate and streamline reconciliation operations.
Your Day-to-Day Will Involve:
- Oversee the reconciliation of financial transactions across multiple platforms, including digital wallets, payment platform, and other financial systems.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation operations management and address any discrepancies in a prompt and effective manner.
- Develop and implement robust reconciliation policies, procedures, and controls to support business growth and scalability.
- Drive initiatives to automate reconciliation processes.
- Collaborate with product, technology, and data teams to design and implement scalable reconciliation systems and workflows.
- Continuously evaluate existing processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend enhancements to improve accuracy and reduce operational risks.
- Provide regular updates and reports on reconciliation status, performance metrics, and risk factors to senior management and other key stakeholders.
- Develop a strategic vision for the reconciliation function, aligning with the organization\’s overall business strategy and growth objectives.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on reconciliation performance, trends, and strategic initiatives to the management team.

Requirements
- Bachelor\’s degree in finance, Accounting, or similar graduation.
- Over 5-7 years\’ experience in financial reconciliations
- At least 2-3 years in a leadership role, preferably in the context of payment solutions or financial data.
- In-dept knowledge of digital payment systems.
- Experienced as a user of Financial ERP Systems.
- Proven track record of managing reconciliation processes and driving process improvements in a high-growth environment.
- Proficiency in reconciliation and financial management software, as well as data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python).
- Experience with automation tools and technologies.
- Building and facilitating automation solutions for efficiency related to reconciliations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address issues proactively.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
