MARCO, a globally recognised automation and technology company and part of the ATS Group, is seeking a talented and proactive Design Engineer to support our dedicated team based in Edenbridge, Kent. As part of a team of four, you will play a key role in developing innovative product designs, improving existing solutions, and supporting projects from concept through to production.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Design & Development
- Produce detailed 2D and 3D designs, models, and technical drawings using CAD software.
- Develop new product concepts and refine designs to meet functional, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements.
- Carry out feasibility studies and evaluate design options for performance, cost, and manufacturability.
- Support prototype creation and coordinate testing to validate design performance.
- Project Support
- Contribute to the full design lifecycle from initial concept to production handover.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams.
- Support project timelines, design reviews, documentation, and risk assessments.
- Technical Support
- Provide engineering support to production teams and troubleshoot design-related issues.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements.
