As Breakfast Chef, you’ll be responsible for leading the breakfast service, preparing classic and creative dishes with finesse, and ensuring every guest starts their day with something special. This role is ideal for someone with great organisation, culinary flair, and a hands‑on approach to 5 star food delivery. This position reports to the Executive Chef.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Lead the preparation and delivery of the breakfast service, ensuring high-quality and timely execution.
- Cook and present a range of breakfast dishes to the highest standards, maintaining consistency, taste, and elegant presentation.
- Oversee and check early morning deliveries to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Prepare ingredients and mise en place for both breakfast and later services where required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised section that meets all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Support our junior kitchen team delegating tasks and contributing to their development.
- Rotate stock effectively and manage waste with sustainability and efficiency in mind.
- Adjust seasoning and techniques throughout service to ensure every dish leaves the kitchen perfectly.
- Collaborate closely with the wider kitchen and restaurant team to ensure smooth, coordinated service.
- Play a role in shaping seasonal breakfast offerings and supporting wider hotel events.
