Marcilly Recruitment’s client, an UHNW tech founder, is seeking a high-calibre Senior EA to support in a strategic, fast-paced role in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
This is a true right-hand Senior EA to Founder role working across logistics, projects, admin and strategy. You will be given a lot of autonomy to run with projects, so they are seeking a savvy, bright senior EA with a strong business acumen, the ability to think outside the box and use your initiative.
The successful Senior EA to Founder will be working as part of a great team who all get on really well. They are looking for a super personable, warm and engaging candidate who is down to earth and easy to get on with. There are no egos and it is just a fast-paced, dynamic working environment where everyone delivers to a high standard.
Salary: £100K - £130K - may be flex for the perfect candidate
Benefits: discretionary bonus; healthcare; pension; 25 days holiday; travel
Hours: 09:00 – 17:30 Monday to Friday with flexibility when needed
Location: office based five days a week in London
Start date: ideally not more than six weeks
They are NOT looking for a corporate Senior EA to Founder, the successful Senior EA to Founder must be coming from a creative, entrepreneurial environment with a range of extremely fast-paced industry experience. The successful candidate must also be an academic graduate from a highly regarded university.
This is a Chief of Staff calibre job, but without the job title as there is already a longstanding CoS in place.
Senior EA to Founder Key Responsibilities:- Full ownership of the principal’s business diary, busy but manageable which allows you to work across a complete range of tasks
- Inbox management for multiple inboxes. Autonomy to reply on behalf of the principal, drafts responses, flag and file
- Act as a gatekeeper across everything business related
- Manage extremely high-level relationships with VIPs, politicians, business leaders, C-suite Executives etc.
- Project management
- Extensive research into new ventures, the industry, strategy, potential meetings, delegates etc.
- Liaison with external service providers, accountants, lawyers etc.
- Financial management
- Travel management by both private and commercial, visas, accommodation, multileg trips etc.
- Creative problem solving and fire fighting
- Board work and coordinating company board meetings, off sites, AGMs etc.
- Meeting preparation, document production, presentations, research, agendas, create meeting packs, minutes and any necessary follow up
- Business strategy and brainstorming
- Internal and external comms
- Troubleshooting and working as part of a team
- A minimum of ten years as an EA in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Must have experience working at founder level / UHNW entrepreneur
- A degree is a must, ideally Russell Group graduate
- Experience working in a high-level, entrepreneurial environment – something dynamic and more creative, not too corporate
- Impeccable communication skills with excellent English language and grammar
- Advanced IT skills and the ability to troubleshoot
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships easily with people at all levels
- A strong work ethic and the dedication to see tasks through to completion
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and use their initiative
- A good team player, who is adaptable to different working styles.
- No ego, someone down to earth and happy to get stuck into the task at hand.
