A wonderful UHNW family based in Prime Central London isseekingan experienced and dedicated Live-In Nanny / Housekeeper to join their household on a long-term basis.
This is a blended role that combines childcare and housekeeping responsibilities, with the balance of duties naturally shifting throughout the day. When the child is at school, the focus will be onmaintainingthe home to an exceptional standard. When the child is at home, the role will become more nanny-focused, providing attentive care,supportand engagement.
The family travels extensively throughout the year and is seeking a candidate who enjoys an international lifestyle and is happy toaccompanythem on trips around the world.
This position would suit a warm,energeticand highlyorganisedcandidate who genuinely enjoys both childcare and housekeeping and takes pride in creating a well-run, welcoming home environment.
Housekeeping Responsibilities
- Maintaining the residence to an exceptionally high standard at all times
- Daily housekeeping,cleaningandorganisationthroughout the property
- Laundry,ironingand wardrobe management
- Caring for delicate fabrics,garmentsand household items
- Maintaining household inventories and ensuring supplies are fully stocked
- Packing and unpacking for family travel
- Preparing guest rooms and ensuring the propertyremainsguest-ready
- Assistingwith householdorganisationprojects and seasonal wardrobe changes
- Working collaboratively with other household staff whererequired
Childcare Responsibilities
- Providing attentive and nurturing care when the child is at home
- Supporting morning and evening routines
- School drop-offs and pick-ups whererequired
- Planning age-appropriate activities and outings
- Supporting educational development and homework where appropriate
- Preparing school bags,uniformsand children's belongings
- Managing children's laundry andmaintainingorganisedchildren's spaces Travelling with the family internationally and supporting the child throughout trips
Travel
The family travels extensively throughout theyearand the successful candidate must be willing and able to travel internationally whenrequired.
Live-in Nanny / Housekeeper Requirements
- Previousexperience working as a Nanny / Housekeeper within a private household
- Strong housekeeping skills with excellent attention to detail
- Experience caring for school-aged children
- Warm,nurturingand professional approach to childcare
- Excellent laundry,ironingand wardrobe management skills
- Flexible and adaptable attitude
- Comfortable travelling internationally on a regular basis
- Highlyorganisedand proactive
- Discreet,trustworthyand professionalat all times
- Strong spoken English
- Up-to-dateFirst Aid certification preferred
- Enhanced DBS (or equivalent) preferred
- Valid passport with the ability to travel internationally
Package
- Salary: £50,000–£60,000 gross per annum depending on experience
