Marcilly Recruitment’s client, a HNW family in South West London, is seeking an outgoing, warm and engaging candidate ideally based near SW18. This is a flexible, household-based role for 10 hours a week spread over Monday to Friday.
The client is looking for a proactive, self-starter who is not afraid to use their initiative and muck in wherever required. They need someone who is reliable and discreet, who can proactively handle situations with confidence. The family are very open to the successful candidate making the role their own, working with autonomy and being mindful of juggling a variety of different tasks.
This will be a remote role that will suit a Virtual Assistant living in South West London, ideally Wandsworth because you will need to visit the house once a week and attend if there is an emergency with either of their two rental properties in Wandsworth.
Salary: £20-£28.00 p/h
Location: Wandsworth
Hours: 10hrs per week
Start date: ideally ASAP
Private PA Responsibilities
- Paying of household bills.
- Dealing with all mail and other correspondence.
- Arranging household repairs, service visits and other types of maintenance.
- Paper filing, organising computer and filing.
- Dealing with all aspects of vehicles – permits, servicing etc.
- Organising contacts databases.
- Preparing address labels, sending cards (e.g., Christmas, thank you cards).
- Organising travel and bookings for family holidays and other trips.
- Purchasing gifts, sending flowers, on-line shopping and returns etc.
- Dealing with arrangements connected with events or parties.
- Dealing with builders/contractors involved in building work and other household improvements.
- Dealing with all insurance – household, flat, pet etc.
- Financial analysis of spending.
- Scheduling appointments on behalf of their three teenaged children.
- Ideally someone that would be happy to prepare meals when needed.
Private PA Requirements
- A minimum of two years' working as a Private PA.
- The successful candidate must have experience of working in an HNW household before and ideally managing multiple properties.
- A confident, personable and engaging candidate with strong interpersonal skills.
- A down to earth, proactive self-starter who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.
