Marcilly Recruitment’s client, a lovely UHNW family relocating to Berkshire (Windsor area), is seeking a professional, experienced, and proactive Nanny/Housekeeper/Chef to support their fully staffed household and care for their two children aged 8 and 9. This is a live-out position, and candidates must be based within a reasonable commuting distance of Berkshire. A trial period will take place at the family’s London residence prior to their relocation.
The ideal candidate will be warm, calm, organised, and highly detail-oriented, with the ability to balance high-level housekeeping, structured childcare support, and light cooking duties. The family are hands-on and value someone who understands when to take initiative and when to step back. They are a busy, dynamic family who travel extensively during school holidays, including extended summer periods abroad. They are looking for a committed, long-term candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards.
Salary: £50K - £55K gross per annum depending on experience
Benefits: generous annual bonus; pension; 28 days holiday & international travel
Start date: September 2026 (trial May/June in Chelsea)
Location: Windsor / Berkshire (live-out)
Travel: Required during all school holidays, including extended summer travel
Nanny/Housekeeper/Chef Requirements
- Previous experience within a UHNW private household in a similar role
- Strong housekeeping and laundry skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Confident cook, able to prepare simple, healthy, family-style meals
- Experience supporting children within a structured household environment
- Warm, calm, and able to set boundaries with kindness
- Highly organised with strong time management skills
- Proactive, professional, and discreet at all times
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Fluent English required
- Comfortable working around animals (dog and guinea pigs)
- Confident driver essential
- A team player who works well within a fully staffed household
- Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and travel
Nanny/Housekeeper/Chef Responsibilities
- Full housekeeping to an exceptional standard across all areas of the home
- Deep cleaning, organisation, and maintaining high presentation standards throughout
- Laundry and wardrobe management, including ironing, steaming, and seasonal organisation
- Managing dry cleaning, garment care, and wardrobe systems
- Preparing breakfast, smoothies, and light lunches
- Supporting kitchen organisation, cleanliness, and appliance maintenance
- Polishing cutlery, silverware, and glassware as required
- Assisting with the children’s morning routine, including breakfast, uniforms, and school preparation
- Supporting children with dressing and daily organisation
- Maintaining children’s bedrooms, bathrooms, wardrobes, and play areas
- Managing children’s laundry and wardrobe rotation
- Liaising with the family and PA regarding school schedules, activities, and requirements
- Managing household supplies and restocking when required
- Handling deliveries and liaising with contractors and household staff
- Supporting general household organisation, errands, and ad hoc tasks
- Assisting with guest readiness and overall household flow
- Travelling with the family during school holidays and assisting with packing and organisation
