A fun, sociable property firm with a great company culture is seeking a PA/Office Manager to support their MD in a business capacity and run their lovely office. The successful candidate doesn’t need to have prior experience working in the property industry; the client is very open to industry background as long as the candidate has supported at a high level in a business capacity before. The role will be based in the office five days a week, Monday-Friday.
The client is a well-established real estate investment and development firm specializing in luxury residential and mixed-use schemes. They have a close-knit team who all work collaboratively together in an adult working environment where autonomy and proactivity are encouraged.
Role: PA to MD / Office Manager
Salary: £60,000- £65,000 depending on experience
Benefits: discretionary bonus; 25 days holiday; pension, medical and gym
Hours: 08:30 – 17:30. Based in the office 5 days
Start date: ASAP but they are happy to wait a notice period for the right candidate.
PA to MD Responsibilities:
- Diary management
- Meeting co-ordination
- Inbox management
- Preparation of itineraries
- Travel arrangements—booking hotels, transport, restaurants
- Preparation of documents, including Board reports
- Ad hoc support to the wider team
Office Manager Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the organisation of staff events
- Managing the LinkedIn Account and updating the Website and Intranet
- Assistance with the meeting and greeting of guests
- Overseeing the daily operations of the office
- Maintaining office supplies including stationery and food orders
- Implementing office procedures
- Overseeing the H&S procedures including but not limited to First Aid and Fire Marshalls (they will provide training here)
- Handling office maintenance
- Assist with IT issues, co-ordinating with the in-house IT team
PA/OM Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a PA/Office Manager at a high level
- A proactive, can-do approach
- Strong MS Office Skills; excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- An outgoing, warm and engaging candidate
- A candidate who has demonstrated commitment, loyalty and longevity in at least one long-term role
