Housekeeper – UHNW Private Family Residence (Live-In or Live-Out)
Location: Central London
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 DOE
Accommodation (if live-in): Private 1-bedroom staff suite (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room) Contract: Full-time, live-in or live-out
Schedule: Rota basis – split shifts (morning & evening), five-day week including some weekends

Marcilly Recruitment’s client, a private UHNW family, is seeking a professional and discreet Housekeeper to join their fully staffed, luxury residence in Central London.
The home has been newly renovated to exceptional standards and is managed by an experienced, long-standing household team in a warm yet professional environment. The successful candidate will take particular care of the family’s personal and informal living areas, ensuring every detail is maintained to five-star standards.
This role can be live-in or live-out, depending on the candidate’s preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily housekeeping across the family’s private and informal areas, maintaining immaculate presentation
- Cleaning and care of bedrooms, bathrooms, and family spaces to luxury standards
- Morning preparation including breakfast set-up and daily household organisation
- Evening turn-down and light support with family dinners and evening routines
- Laundry, wardrobe, and linen care, including delicate and designer garments
- General tidying, resetting, and organisation throughout the day
- Dog walking and pet care as required
- Occasional assistance with errands and ad hoc household tasks
- Coordinating with other household staff and communicating effectively within the team
- Always upholding the highest standards of discretion, professionalism, and family privacy
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a private household or five-star hospitality environment
- Exceptional housekeeping and laundry skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Warm, professional, and family-focused demeanour
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Pet and child friendly
- Flexible and adaptable, willing to work split shifts and occasional weekends
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check
- Excellent, verifiable references
Accommodation (if live-in)
A private one-bedroom staff suite is available onsite, comprising a bedroom, bathroom, fully equipped kitchen, and living room. Utilities and meals included; full privacy respected.
