A private UHNW family based in Chelsea is seeking an experienced and dedicated Live-In Housekeeper/Nanny to join their fully staffed household. This is a combined role leading with high-standard housekeeping, alongside hands-on childcare, and will suit a candidate who approaches both with equal commitment and professionalism.
The family have twin toddlers aged 20 months and an 8-year-old, and are looking for someone warm, calm, and highly organised, who thrives in a busy household and takes pride in maintaining exceptional standards across all areas of their work.
Housekeeping Responsibilities- Maintaining the residence to five-star standards at all times
- Performing detailed daily housekeeping, deep cleaning, and organisation of all living and storage areas
- Managing laundry, ironing, garment care, packing/unpacking, and wardrobe organisation
- Monitoring household inventories and restocking supplies proactively
- Preparing guest suites and assisting with formal and informal entertaining as required
- Ensuring all household areas remain guest-ready at all times
- Assisting with seasonal organisation, travel preparation, and ad hoc household projects
- Maintaining strict confidentiality and discretion at all times
- Providing day-to-day care for the twin toddlers and supporting the 8-year-old
- Managing nursery and school drop-offs and pick-ups
- Overseeing morning, after-school, and bedtime routines, including bath and bedtime
- Planning and facilitating age-appropriate activities and play
- Managing children's laundry and maintaining organised children's areas
- Working collaboratively with the wider household team
Some light family cooking will be required. The ideal candidate will be comfortable preparing simple, wholesome family meals.
TravelThe family travel regularly, including trips to the United States. Candidates must hold a passport eligible for US ESTA travel.
AccommodationA private bedroom is provided, located on the lower ground floor, separate from the main family areas. Accommodation is included within the salary package.
Candidate Requirements- Minimum 5+ years' experience in a housekeeper/nanny or equivalent private household role
- Exceptional housekeeping standards and strong knowledge of fabric and surface care
- Genuine warmth and experience working with young children, including toddlers
- Comfortable preparing simple, wholesome family meals
- Calm, organised, and proactive with a high level of attention to detail
- Discreet, loyal, and emotionally intelligent
- Flexible across hours, travel, and schedule changes
- A strong team player comfortable working within a fully staffed household
- Fluent English essential
- Tagalog / Filipino speaking essential
- Up-to-date First Aid certification
- Enhanced DBS / police checks (or equivalent), or willingness to obtain
