Marcilly Recruitment's client is seeking an experienced, polished and highly organised Housekeeper to join a prestigious fully staffed UHNW private household in Chelsea. This is a fantastic opportunity for a career Housekeeper who takes genuine pride in maintaining a beautiful home to exceptional standards. Working as part of an established household team, you will ensure the residence is presented impeccably at all times whilst providing seamless support to the family and their guests.
The successful candidate will be proactive, discreet and naturally meticulous, with previous experience working within private households or luxury hospitality environments.
Role: Housekeeper
Location: Chelsea, London
Salary: £45,000–£55,000 gross per annum, depending on experience

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00, offering an excellent work‑life balance within a professional and respectful household.
Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the residence to immaculate five-star standards on a daily basis
- General housekeeping including cleaning, polishing and presentation of all living areas
- Laundry, ironing and specialist garment care
- Wardrobe organisation, seasonal wardrobe rotations and clothing management
- Preparing guest bedrooms and ensuring the property remains guest‑ready at all times
- Deep cleaning and household organisation projects
- Greeting visitors and accepting deliveries professionally
- Monitoring household cleaning products and food supplies and liaising with the wider household team when replenishment is required
- Assisting with household organisation and maintaining efficient storage systems
- Preparing simple meals or light cooking when required
- Working collaboratively with the wider household staff to ensure the smooth running of the home
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working within a UHNW private household or luxury hospitality environment
- Excellent housekeeping, laundry and wardrobe management skills
- Strong understanding of caring for luxury fabrics, furnishings and delicate items
- Exceptional attention to detail with naturally high standards
- Highly organised with excellent time management
- Able to work independently whilst also being a strong team player
- Professional, discreet and trustworthy
- Warm, positive and flexible attitude
- Looking for a long-term position within a stable household
Essential Requirements:

- Fluent English
