Marcilly Recruitment’s client, a UHNW household in Chelsea, is seeking a polished and discreet Housekeeper to support the daily operations of their residence.

This is a live-out, full-time position, working Monday to Friday, approx. 40 hours per week, with occasional flexibility for evenings or weekends as required. The right candidate will take pride in their work, demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and be confident managing all aspects of housekeeping, laundry, and general household support.

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE
Benefits: Discretionary annual bonus, pension (PAYE)
Start Date: ASAP (flexible for the right candidate)
Location: Central London
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week (some flexibility required)

Key Housekeeper Responsibilities

Cleaning & Organisation

  • Daily upkeep of the home, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing
  • Deep cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas
  • Organising cupboards, wardrobes, and storage spaces
  • Window and glass cleaning when required

Laundry & Wardrobe Management

  • Full laundry duties: washing, drying, folding, and ironing
  • Care for delicate and luxury fabrics
  • Wardrobe organisation and seasonal rotation
  • Packing/unpacking for travel

Kitchen & Household Support

  • Cleaning of kitchen surfaces, appliances, and dishes
  • Assisting with basic food prep and post-meal clean-up when required
  • Monitoring and restocking cleaning and household supplies
  • Occasional cooking
  • Garbage and recycling management

General Maintenance & Specialist Tasks

  • Reporting household maintenance issues
  • Polishing silver, caring for fine furnishings and antiques
  • Occasional assistance with pets or plants Supporting events and guest preparation when needed

  • Excellent cleaning and laundry skills, with knowledge of fine fabric care
