An Outstanding primary school in Kingston seeks a motivated Year 4 Teacher to lead a year group from January 2026. The Year 4 Teacher will be part of a phase team that plans creative, knowledge-rich units aimed at deepening pupils’ reasoning and independence. The Full-Time Year 4 Teacher will begin induction in the weeks before January 2026, attend moderation in early January 2026, and teach from January 2026.

The Year 4 Teacher will plan and deliver a challenging, well-sequenced curriculum that builds mathematical reasoning and comprehension. The Year 4 Teacher will use assessment to inform targeted support and stretch higher-attaining pupils. The Year 4 Teacher will lead trips, run enrichment clubs and take part in parent consultations from January 2026. The Year 4 Teacher will work with teaching assistants to ensure differentiated provision for all learners.
