We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity to teach Upper Key Stage 2 pupils, helping them develop independence, resilience, and the academic skills needed as they prepare for Years 5 and 6.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons across the Year 4 curriculum, engaging pupils in all areas of the National Curriculum. You will create a calm, positive, and inclusive classroom environment where pupils feel supported, challenged, and motivated to achieve their best. Assessment and tracking of progress will be central to your role. You will identify gaps in learning and deliver targeted support where needed. Differentiation and inclusion will ensure all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL, can access the curriculum effectively. Collaboration with teaching assistants and Upper Key Stage 2 colleagues will ensure continuity of learning and consistent support.
