Are you a creative Year 4 Teacher looking for a Full-Time post in an Independent School in Merton with a January 2026 start? This Independent School seeks a Year 4 Teacher who will join a highly collaborative KS2 team, take part in planning ahead of January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as the Year 4 Teacher.

The Year 4 Teacher will design coherent knowledge-rich sequences in maths and English, lead assessment cycles and run targeted interventions. The Year 4 Teacher will also lead enrichment activities and may take on a subject leadership responsibility. Prior to January 2026, the Year 4 Teacher will be involved in planning and moderation; the Year 4 Teacher will teach from January 2026 and contribute to the Independent School’s curriculum development thereafter.

We are seeking a Year 4 Teacher with QTS and strong KS2 practice. The Year 4 Teacher should be reflective, collaborative and ready to implement evidence-informed approaches. The Year 4 Teacher must be available for pre-term planning prior to January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to teach from January 2026 as a Full-Time Year 4 Teacher.
